b. 1791 in Chester District, SC; d. between 1840 and 1850 in GA;

m. on 14 Jun 1808 in Oglethorpe Co., GA to Sally Patton who was b. c. 1790 SC and

d. 1840-50 GA. Sally was a daughter of Samuel Patton and Mary Powell. Notley D. Gore

was in Cobb Co., GA at the 1840 Census and in Madison Co., GA at the 1830 Census.

Elizabeth Hudson who was born 9 Geb 1816 GA and d. 11 Jan 1892 in Paulding Co., GA,

bur. Yorkville Cem. Elizabeth was a sister of William Still Hudson.

Samuel Gore, Sr. was in Cobb Co., GA in 1840 and in Paulding Co., GA by 1850

until his death.

Thomas Gore

who was b. 30 Mar 1833 GA, d. 6 Dec 1864 Camp Douglas, IL, a prisoner of War Camp; bur. Oak Wood Cem., Cook Co., IL.

Thomas Gore m. 2 Sep 1854 in Paulding Co., GA to Rutha Jane Parsons, who

was b. 17 Mar 1838 GA and d. 8 Oct 1905; bur. Ables Springs Cem, Kaufman Co., TX.

Rutha Jane Parsons was a daughter of Evan Parsons and Anna Graham.

Rutha Jane m. 2nd to Asa Roberts. She was in Marshal Co., AL in 1880.

According to "Roster of the Confedrate Soldiers of GA",

Vol. 1, p. 853: Thomas Gore, Co. C, 7th Reg't. GA Vol. Inf., Army of Northern VA;

CSA Paulding Co., GA, Paulding Volunteers;

Private May 31, 1861; deserted from Confederate Army Nov. 6, 1863.

Captured in Paulding Co., GA by the Union Army Oct. 31, 1864. Died of smallpox at

Camp Douglas, IL, a POW camp, Dec. 6, 1864.

James Pinkney Gore

was born 26 Oct. 1858 in Paulding Co., GA and died 26, Apr. 1934

in Wills Point, Van Zandt Co., TX and is buried Bright Star Cem.

He married 1st on 11 Jul 1878 in Paulding Co., GA to Frances A. Cohorn.

He was in Marshall Co., AL in 1900 and in Kaufman Co., TX in 1910 (moved to TX between 1900 & 1910). James Pinkney Gore m. 2nd in AL to Lou Cindy Hopkins who was b. 10 Oct 1868 TN and d. 26 Apr 1936 in Van Zandt Co., TX, bur. Bright Star Cem.
